NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion women's lacrosse team returns home to welcome George Washington for a matchup at 1 p.m. taking place at the L.R. Hill Sports Complex on Tuesday, March 5.
The game will be streamed on ESPN+.
ODU (2-4) is coming off a loss on the road to Lehigh, 10-8 on Saturday. Sydney Taylor paced the way for the Monarchs scoring three goals in the loss. Taylor leads the team with 16 points and 13 goals. Lilly Siskind follows her with 14 points, 10 goals and tied for the team high in assists with Emma Arnold with four. Arnold also leads the team with 18 draw controls. Lauren Carey leads the defense causing nine turnovers and Jenna Peccia has a team-high 16 groundballs.
George Washington is coming off a 16-9 win over Robert Morris on Saturday. Phoebe Mullarkey leads the team with 16 points and 13 goals. Three Revolutionaries are tied for the team high in assists with five. Stella Ray leads the defense causing nine turnovers.
The two teams met in 2021 when George Washington defeated ODU, 16-6.
The Monarchs are back in action on Sunday, March. 10 at noon when they travel to Rider.
