Emma Arnold Named American Athletic Conference Midfielder of the Week

IRVING, Texas – Emma Arnold of the Old Dominion Women's Lacrosse team was named American Athletic Conference Midfielder of the Week on Monday, the conference announced. Lilly Siskind was also named to the weekly honor roll.
 
A graduate transfer from Lindenwood, Arnold helped the Monarchs to a 1-1 week defeating George Washington, 18-13 on Tuesday and losing to Rider, 10-9 on Sunday. Arnold scored a career high seven goals against George Washington she added six draw controls, two caused turnovers, two groundballs and an assist. Against Rider, she finished with four goals, six draw controls, four caused turnovers and three groundballs. Arnold currently leads ODU in the following categories, points (24), goals (19), draw controls (30) and caused turnovers (14).
 
Siskind was named to the weekly honor roll after her performance. She helped ODU defeat George Washington after she scored four goals and assisted three. On Sunday against Rider she scored one goal and added an assist but she eclipsed 200 career points. Siskind is second behind Arnold with 23 points and has a team-high eight assists. 
 
ODU is back in action on Wednesday, March. 13 at noon when they host Quinnipiac at the L.R. Hill Sports Complex.
