NORFOLK, Va. –The Old Dominion Women's Lacrosse team welcomes their third straight in-state foe, VCU to the L.R. Hill Sports Complex on Wednesday, Feb. 21 at 2 p.m.
The game will be streamed on ESPN+.
ODU is coming off a 12-8 loss at William & Mary on Saturday. Sydney Taylor led the Monarchs scoring a hat trick and Olivia Tanneberger scored two goals as well. Leading ODU offensively is Emma Rowland with four goals and four points while Lilly Siskind, Emma Arnold and Taylor all are tied with three goals. Lauren Carey continues to lead the backline for the Monarchs causing six turnovers and scooping up seven groundballs.
VCU is coming off a 12-11 loss to Elon on Saturday. Ashley Karn leads the Rams offensively with seven points and seven goals. Kiley Kozak leads the team with two assists. Casey Murray leads the Rams defensively with three caused turnovers and five groundballs.
Last season the two teams met in Richmond with the outcome favoring VCU, 14-8. ODU is back in action on Wednesday, Feb. 28 at Longwood at 2 p.m.
