NORFOLK, Va. – The Priority Charity Bowl ODU Spring Game is set for Saturday, April 13 at 2 p.m. at Kornblau Field at S.B. Ballard Stadium.
Old Dominion opens spring practice on Tuesday, March 12 and will practice the allotted 15 times with the culmination of spring practice the Priority Charity Bowl ODU Spring Game.
The Monarchs went 6-7 in 2023 and earned a berth in the Famous Toastery Bowl. ODU played 11 one score games, the most by a team since Division I Football was formed in 1978. The Monarchs return 15 starters, including eight on offense, five on defense and two specialists.
The Priority Charity Bowl ODU Spring Game is free and open to the public. Fans are directed to enter through the southeast gate and sit on the east side of the stadium. Parking is free and available in the Red Garage which is adjacent to the stadium on 49th street and Bluestone Avenue.
The Charity Bowl, in its 55th year, is America's longest running charity football game. The event raises money for Hampton Roads children's charities. Last year's Charity Bowl raised over $800,000 for the charities, a record for the event.
The 2024 ODU Football schedule and dates will be announced by March 1, with home opponents including Virginia Tech, East Carolina, James Madison, Marshall, Georgia Southern and Texas State. Season ticket holders will be able to renew their seats beginning in mid-March. If you didn't have season tickets in 2023, new season ticket deposits are available now by clicking here.
