NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion Football featured five student-athletes on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team. Mario Easterly, Elijah Hoskin, Jalen Satchell, Grant Wilson and Maarten Woudsma earned the honors.
Easterly played in all 13 games at safety and on special teams. He recorded 14 tackles and recovered a fumble, securing a career-high five tackles against Coastal Carolina. He owns a 3.8 GPA and is majoring in finance.
Hoskin played in all 13 games and made his first career start at right guard against Coastal Carolina. He has a 3.50 GPA and is majoring in criminal justice.
Satchell appeared in all games on the year and started six on the defensive line. He recorded 16 tackles and a sack. He holds a 3.8 GPA and is a leadership major.
Wilson Played in 12 games, starting 11 at quarterback. He completed 178-of-312 passes for 2,149 yards and 17 touchdowns. He also rushed for 289 yards and four scores. He has a 3.62 GPA with a finance major.
Woudsma played in all 13 games as a reserve offensive linemen and on special teams. He has a 3.66 GPA and is majoring in exercise science.
Five Monarchs Named CSC Academic All-District
