IRVING, Texas – Katie McGrain of the Old Dominion Lacrosse team was named American Athletic Conference Preseason All-Conference on Tuesday. McGrain was a second team all AAC conference team member last season in defense.
McGrain started in all 17 games for ODU last season where she caused 23 turnovers. She was also second on the tram with 43 ground balls. McGrain added two draw controls and scored one goal against Richmond.
Old Dominion opens its season on Feb. 13 when they host Elon at the L.R. Hill Sports Complex at 1 p.m.
