NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion Sailing head coach Mitch Brindley announced the 2024 spring schedule on Thursday. 
 
The team will open the spring season on Feb. 24 and 25 when they travel to the USF Women's Team Race in Tampa, Florida.
 
On March 2 and 3 the team will be competing in the DC team Race in Alexandria, Virginia and the ODU Spring Women's Race in Norfolk. 
 
The Monarchs will then compete in the Navy Women's Team Race in Annapolis, Maryland and the John Jackson Team Race in Alexandria, Virginia on March 9 and 10.
 
ODU will continue action on March 16 and 17 when they compete in the Graham Tall Team Race in Annapolis, Maryland and the St. Mary's Women's Fleet Race in St. Mary's, Maryland.
 
On March 23 and 24, Old Dominion will stay in Hampton Roads as they compete in the Aaron Szambecki Team Race in Norfolk and the Hanbury Trophy in Hampton. 
 
The MAISA Women's Fleet Race will take place in Geneva, New York on March 30 and 31.
 
ODU will then compete in the Prosser Trophy in Norfolk which will be the team's Conference Championship and also compete in the Finger Lakes Women's Team Race in Ithaca, New York on April 6 and 7.
 
The Monarch's will compete in four races the weekend of April 13 and 14. The first is the MAISA Women's Team Race in St. Mary's Maryland, the next in the Truxtun Umstead Open Fleet Race in Throgs Neck, New York. The third race is the Azalea Bowl in Wilmington, North Carolina and the final race is the Oberg 1st Alternate in Boston, Massachusetts. 
 
On April 20 and 21, Old Dominion will compete in the America Trophy in Throgs Neck, New York and the George Washington Invitational in Alexandria, Virginia.
 
ODU wraps up its season on April 29 and 30 at the Admiral's Cup in Kings Point, New York.
