NEW ORLEANS – For the second year in a row, Old Dominion volleyball's Myah Conway has been named to the Sun Belt's All-Conference First Team, as announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon. The honors were voted on by the league's 14 head coaches.

"We are all so proud of Myah. Being named to the All-Sun Belt First Team is quite an honor. To be named a second consecutive year is something else. It is a recognition of Myah's hard work, and the contributions of her teammates as well," said head coach Fred Chao.

A rightside hitter from Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania, Conway leads the Monarchs this season with 439 kills, 3.99 kills per set, 1,055 total attacks, 504.0 points and 4.58 points per set. She is also second on the team in total blocks (90) and is the Sun Belt leader in total kills and points.

Conway became the first player in program history to reach 1,000 career kills last Friday during ODU's 3-1 win at Southern Miss. She has scored double-digit kills in 26 of the 29 matches she has played in this season and recorded three double-doubles. Conway earned Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Week honor on Sept. 19 and was also named to the ODU Quest for the Crown and West Virginia Mountaineer Invitational All-Tournament Teams. Her effort on the court helped the Monarchs set a new program record for wins in a season.

The Monarchs (14-16, 6-10 Sun Belt) enter this week's Sun Belt Conference Championship as the No. 5 seed out the league's East Division and open the tournament against the No. 4 seed out of the West, Louisiana, on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. EST. The Championship will be held at the Foley Sports Tourism Complex in Foley, Alabama from Nov. 15-19 with the Championship final scheduled for a 4 p.m. EST start on Sunday. The winner will receive the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Championship.

Each of the tournament's 13 matches will be broadcast on ESPN+ and tickets may be purchased online through the Foley Sports Tourism Box Office. Tickets will be sold on a daily basis and cost $10 per day for adults and $5 per day for children ages 12 and under. Students of Sun Belt Conference institutions will be admitted free with a valid student ID.
