They rebounded to defeat Selma Cadar and Mary Brumfield of Maryland 8-6 and then fell to Bente Spee and Sara Dahlstrom of Florida 8-1 in consolation rounds.

"Overall, it was a decent tourney for us. Sofia had a nice win in singles over Auburn and Alex and Sofia had a strong win over Maryland," said ODU Head Coach Dominic Manilla. "We would have liked to have gone further but hats off to our opponents as they played better. Looking forward to getting back on campus and getting back to work."
