Paige Nominated for Burlsworth Trophy

Isiah Paige

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Old Dominion University wide receiver Isiah Paige was announced as ODU's nominee for the Burlsworth Trophy, the Burlsworth Foundation announced on Tuesday.
 
The Burlsworth Trophy is given to the most outstanding football player in America who began his career as a walk-on and has shown outstanding performance on the field. Each nominee must have begun his first season of participation with FBS (D1) football program without financial aid of any kind from his university's athletic department. 
 
Paige leads the Monarchs with 26 catches for 232 yards. He also has returned four punts for 12 yards.
 
A native of Richmond, Virginia, Paige earned CUSA honorable mention honors as a punt returner in 2021. In his career, he has 65 receptions for 557 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
 
Paige and the Monarchs host Coastal Carolina on Saturday, Nov. 4 at 3:30 p.m. on ESPN+.
