Junior Sofia Johnson went 1-1 in the qualifying draw with a win over Brooke Lynn Schaefer 6-4, 6-2, then fell by the same score to Alexia Harmon.
"Kira really stepped up and showed off her talent and the type of player she is capable of beating," said ODU Head Coach Dominic Manilla. "I'm excited for Monarch Nation and the women's program moving forward."
