NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion men's soccer team concludes their non-conference slate and four-match home stand on Tuesday night facing Campbell at 7 p.m.
 
Old Dominion started quickly on Saturday night scoring two goals in the first six minutes of action as they defeated Coastal Carolina 3-1. Michael Eberle had a goal and an assist, while William Arnesen and Jonas Schmalbach added a goal apiece in the win.
 
Campbell used a late goal from Bissafi Dotte in the 85th minute to blank Northeastern 1-0 on Saturday night. The Camels were outshot 16-8, but made a header into the box that Dotte popped into the net stand in the win.
 
ODU leads the all-time series 6-2-2 after defeating then 20th-ranked Campbell 2-0 last season behind goals from Eberle and Tristan Jenkins. Eberle assisted on Jenkins' goal and Michael Statham stopped nine Campbell shots in recording the clean sheet.
 
ABOUT ODU
Arnesen leads the team now in scoring with his three goals and two assists for eight points. Joining him in the three-goal club are Schmalbach with three and one assist for seven points and Mandair with three goals for six points.
 
Eberle and Key White have scored two goals apiece, while Nathan Lam leads the team in assists with three.
 
In the net, Michael Statham has three clean sheets this year and has a .786 save percentage in nine matches.
 
The win over Coastal Carolina continues the longest unbeaten streak to start a season since 2003 when they won their first 14 matches.
 
With another tie, the Monarchs will match the Sun Belt Conference single season record for most ties with six. Three teams share that mark, including the 1990 Old Dominion Monarchs who finished 8-6-6.
 
ABOUT CAMPBELL
Adam Yousfi leads the Camels in scoring with four goals and three assists for 11 points. Teva Lossec follows him with two goals for four points, while four others have scored once apiece. Marco Wright trails Yousfi in assists as he had two.
 
In goal, Sami Slimi has started all nine matches with a 1.73 goals against average and a .643 save percentage. Both of his wins this year have been shutouts.
