NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion men's soccer team heads to Radford on Friday night to tangle with the Highlanders in a 7 p.m. kick.
 
ODU (0-0-3) enters the contest after a 2-2 draw at George Mason on Monday night. The Monarchs scored twice in the first half on goals by Jonas Schmalbach and William Arnesen. The Monarchs took a 2-1 lead into half on Arnesen's goal with 30 seconds left.
 
Radford (0-2-1) fell 4-0 to James Madison on September 1 in their last game.
 
This will be the seventh all-time meeting between the programs with ODU having won the previous six. Friday's match will be the first-ever at Radford between the programs.
 
ABOUT ODU
Schmalbach leads the team in scoring with two goals and four points. Arnesen, Karan Mandair and Michael Eberle have one goal each, while Nathan Lam has two assists for two points each. Nicholas Alves and Valdimar Daoi Saeversson each have one assist in three matches.
 
Sophomore Michael Statham has recorded all three draws as he has a .706 save percentage in three matches.

The three draws for ODU thus far are the most consecutive draws in program history. ODU has tied twice in a row on numerous occasions.
 
ABOUT RADFORD
Radford has lost to N.C. State (3-1), James Madison (4-0) and played Mount St. Mary's to a 1-1 draw thus far.
 
Alex Kryazhev leads the Highlanders with one goal and one assist for three points, while Owen Clark has the other goal for Radford. Kryazhev and Jan Maldonado have one assist apiece. In the net, time has been split between Alex Eydelman and Bryceland Peacock with Eydelman recording five saves in two matches and Peacock two in his one appearance.
