NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion men's soccer team goes north on Interstate 64 on Tuesday for a 7pm kick against William & Mary at Albert-Daly Field in Williamsburg.
 
ODU (1-0-3) enters the matchup after a 2-0 win on Friday night at Radford. Key White scored early in the second half on a breakaway goal, while Karan Mandair recorded his second penalty kick goal of the year in the final three minutes to ice the victory.
 
William & Mary (1-3-1) saw action on Saturday night dropping a 3-2 Coastal Athletic Association opener at Delaware. Lucas Caldas and Evan Rabush scored six minutes apart in the first half to give the Tribe a 2-1 lead. Delaware got two goals in a three minute span by Carlos Fernandez to take the win.
 
This will be the 58th all-time meeting between the teams and the series is even 24-24-9. ODU hasn't lost to the Tribe in the last five meetings and hasn't lost in Williamsburg since 2009.
 
ABOUT ODU
Mandair and Jonas Schmalbach lead the team in scoring with two goals and four points. William Arnesen and Michael Eberle have one goal each, while Nathan Lam has two assists for two points apiece. Nicholas Alves and Valdimar Daoi Saeversson each have one assist in three matches.
 
Sophomore Michael Statham carded his first shutout of the season as he has a .737 save percentage in four matches.
 
STILL UNBEATEN
ODU'S 1-0-3 start is the best undefeated start to a season for the program since 2012 when they won their first six matches before losing their first one.
 
ABOUT W&M
The Tribe opened with a win over Binghamton (2-1) and since have dropped decisions to Coastal Carolina (2-1), #19 New Hampshire (4-2) and Delaware with a 1-1 draw against Longwood mixed in.
 
Caldas leads the Tribe in scoring with three goals and six points. He is followed by Alfredo Bozalongo with two goals and one assist for five points and Aidan Morrison with one goal and two assists for four points. Ian Krajna leads the team with three assists.
In the net, Cole McNally has played every minute thus far with 18 saves and 11 goals allowed for a save percentage of .621 and goals allowed average of 2.20.
