NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion men's basketball head coach Jeff Jones announced on Wednesday the 2023-24 Monarch schedule. The 2023-24 men's basketball season, sponsored by Bon Secours, will include 30 regular-season contests, 14 of those at home, and a trip to Hawai'i for the Diamond Head Classic.

"In an era where scheduling has become more difficult than ever before for mid-major schools, we were able to once again put together an extremely challenging non-conference slate of games to go with our Sun Belt schedule," said Jones. "With eight new faces on this year's squad our non-conference opponents will prepare us for another exciting Sun Belt season."

Bon Secours Hampton Roads has a network of hospitals, primary care practices, ambulatory care sites, continuing care facilities, and physician practices to provide quality health care services to the residents of Hampton Roads on the Southside, Peninsula and in Western Hampton Roads. In addition to the work done in the clinical setting, Bon Secours is committed to their Mission of improving the health and well-being of our communities and bringing good help to those in need, especially people who are poor, dying and underserved.

The non-conference slate starts off on Nov. 6 when ODU hosts Virginia Wesleyan at 7 p.m. The Monarchs will then take to the road for the first game of the MAC-SBC Challenge when the Monarchs face Ball State on Nov. 11 at 2 p.m. The road swing will then head to Fayetteville, Arkansas where the Monarchs will face Arkansas on Nov. 13.
