NORFOLK, Va. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced the 2022-23 Atlantic Region Rankings on Friday and the Old Dominion women's tennis team earned several honors.
 
As a team, the Monarchs finished second in the regional top 10 after going 19-5, winning the Sun Belt Conference title and advancing to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Individually, Tatsiana Sasnouskaya finished as the top-ranked player in the Atlantic Region, followed by Sofia Johnson (9th) and Shahar Biran (12th) in singles. Sasnouskaya ended the year with a 22-6 singles mark and a second round advancement in the NCAA Tournament, with Johnson finishing 16-8 and Biran at 19-5.
 
Doubles saw the tandems of Sasnouskaya-Johnson (2nd) and Alexandra Viktorovitch with Allison Isaacs (6th) also ranked. Sasnouskaya and Johnson were 20-7 on the year and made the second round of the NCAA Tournament, while Viktorovitch and Isaacs were 13-11.
