NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion baseball's midweek game against VCU, scheduled for Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Bud Metheny Ballpark, has been canceled due to inclement weather expected in the forecast later today. The game will not be made up.
Next up for the Monarchs (31-20, 14-13 Sun Belt) is the team's final three games of the regular season, a Sun Belt series against Georgia State this Thursday through Saturday, May 18-20. Thursday's series opener is scheduled for 6 p.m., Friday's game will begin at 3 p.m. and Saturday will feature a 1 p.m. first pitch.
Prior to Friday's contest, ODU will hold a graduation ceremony on the field for its seniors beginning at 2:30 p.m. Saturday will mark both Senior Day and Alumni Day for the Monarchs, and the team will recognize its senior class in a ceremony before the start of the game.
