NORFOLK, Va. – The 31st-ranked Old Dominion women's tennis team takes to the road this weekend for its final regular season swing. They'll start Saturday at Coastal Carolina in an 11 a.m. match, then head to Georgia Southern for a 10 a.m. start on Sunday.

Scouting ODU
Heading into the final road trip of the regular season, Shahar Biran leads ODU in wins this spring with a 10-2 record. Alexandra Viktorovitch (9-3) and Alesya Yakubovich (9-5) are right behind Biran with Sofia Johnson and Tatsiana Sasnouskaya right behind those two with eight wins. In doubles, Johnson and Sasnouskaya are 8-2 this spring at line one, while Biran and Yakubovich are 8-5 at line two.
Scouting Coastal Carolina
The Chanticleers are 15-5 overall and 7-1 in Sun Belt Conference play this year. They have won their last three matches and defeated Arkansas State 4-0 in their last match. Tatum Burger leads Coastal Carolina in singles this spring with 12 wins, while Anna Babayan and Jesse Hollins have 11. In doubles, Babayan and Megan Hopton are 15-5 at line one to lead the team. Hollins and Victoire De Samucewicz are 11-2 mainly at line three and the tandem of Burger and Lilie Steryous are 10-4 mainly at line two.
Series vs. Coastal Carolina
This will be the second all-time meeting with Coastal Carolina as ODU took a 5-2 win in Blacksburg, Va. during the 2015 season.
Scouting Georgia Southern
Georgia Southern is 15-4 overall and 6-2 in conference play with a match against James Madison on Friday before hosting ODU. Nanaka Kijima leads the Eagles in the spring with a 14-2 record in singles, while Silvia Martinez is right behind at 13-3. Joining those two in double digit wins are Paula Hijos (12), Ninon Martinache (11) and Ana Tsitavets (10). In doubles, Martinache and Lindsay Tulenko lead this spring with a 10-6 mark, while Tsitavets and Sonja Keranen are 6-0 in conference play mainly at line two.
Series vs. Georgia Southern
This will be the first-ever meeting between the schools.
