NEW LONDON, Conn. - Old Dominion University Sailing placed seventh at the Prosser Trophy and seventh at the Emily Wick Regatta this weekend.
At the Prosser Trophy, ODU won a pair of races with a win over Pennsylvania and a win against Fordham. The skippers for the weekend were Rider Odom, Finn Ciszewski and Parker Purrington while the crew were Asia Acosta, Diogo Silva Katherine Barton, Parker Younger and Grace Wright.
At the Emily Wick, the Division A team of Elizabeth Gildea, Lindsey Kaufmann and Alivia Markham came in 10th. The trio had two top-five finishes and many top-10 finishes, along with a race win.
The Division B squad of Megan Geith and Isabelle Kanach came in eighth in the division. Geith and Kanach had four top-five places including a race win.
ODU Sailing heads to MAISA Women's Team Race Championship and Navy Spring Open Fleet Race on April 15-16.
