NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion Women's Lacrosse team will host #25 Richmond at the L.R. Hill Sports Complex on Wednesday, Mar. 8 starting at 12 p.m.
The game will be streamed on ESPN+.
The Monarchs fell to Campbell on Saturday, 14-7. Molly May has scored five goals in the past two games for ODU. She had scored a career-high three goals on Saturday at Campbell.
Three Monarchs are tied for the team lead in points, Lilly Siskind, Moira Olexa and Sydney Taylor all have 16. Siskind leads the team with 13 goals, Taylor has 12 goals, while Olexa has a team high seven assists.
Maria Rekus leads the team with 14 caused turnovers. Mckenzie Raech has a team high 17 draw controls, while Caroline Shaefer has 15. Jenna Peccia leads ODU with 34 ground balls and in saves with 70.
Richmond is coming off a 20-9 loss to Navy on Saturday. Leading the Spiders offensively is Ardan Tierany and Lindsey Frank. Tierany has a team-high in points (20) and assists (11) while Frank has a team-high 14 goals.
Richmond defeated ODU last season, 18-7. The Spiders used that win to take a 25-24 lead in the all-time series. The Monarchs will look to even it up on Wednesday.
