Sailing Takes Fourth at a Pair of Races Over the Weekend

NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University Sailing placed fourth out of six teams at the ODU Women's Team Race and finished fourth at the GW/GTN Team Race over the weekend.
 
At the ODU Women's team Race, after round one, Old Dominion was 2-3 defeating Navy and George Washington. In round two the Monarchs finished 2-2 defeating Navy and George Washington. 
 
The first boat was led by Elizabeth Gildea and Isabelle Kanach, the second boat was by Megan Geith and Lindsey Kaufmann and the third boat was led by Emma Friedaur and Allison Jeanne Volk
 
At the ODU Women's team Race, after round one, Old Dominion was 2-3 defeating King's Point and NY Maritime.
 
The first boat was led by Rider Odom and Diogo Silva, and the second boat was by Finn Ciszewski and Parker Young and the third boat was led by Parker Purrington and Grace Wright.
 
The Monarchs are back in action Mar. 11 and 12 when they travel to the Navy Team Race in Annapolis, Maryland and the SMC Women's Team Race in St. Mary's, Maryland.
