ODU Lacrosse Falls To Campbell 14-7

BUIES CREEK, NC – The Old Dominion Women's lacrosse (3-4) team fell to the Campbell Camels on Saturday, 14-7. Molly May led the Monarchs offensively scoring three goals. 

ODU started off the scoring when Danielle Dundas found May for a goal. Shortly after Dundas gave Old Dominion a 2-0 lead. Campbell responded cutting the Monarch lead in half before May scored her second goal of the first quarter. The Camels got two goals before the end of the first quarter to pull even at 3-3 going into the second quarter. 

The first 10 minutes of the second quarter went scoreless until Kate Stigsell gave the Monarchs a 4-3 lead. ODU added to its lead when May found the back of the net for the third time. Campbell would get two goals to even the game up at halftime 5-5. 

The third quarter was all Campbell as they scored seven goals in the quarter making it a 12-5 game going into the fourth.
