NORFOLK, Va. – The 24th-ranked Old Dominion women's tennis team has another home Sun Belt Conference weekend starting on Saturday with Arkansas State and then Sunday facing ULM. Both matches will start at 10 a.m. at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center and can be seen on ODUsports.com.

"It's always exciting to play at home in front of the greatest women's tennis fans in the nation. Last weekend was a warm environment for us to compete in with our Monarch fans and we are looking forward to that again," said ODU Head Coach Dominic Manilla.

ODU (10-4, 5-0) comes into the weekend after a 4-0 win last Sunday over Southern Miss. Tatsiana Sasnouskaya and Shahar Biran share the spring singles lead with eight wins each, while Sasnouskaya and Sofia Johnson have eight wins at the top doubles spot. The Monarchs are currently ranked 24th in the team poll, while Sasnouskaya is 20th in singles. In doubles, her and Johnson are 36th.

Arkansas State (1-9, 0-4) heads to Norfolk having lost its last four matches including a 6-1 to ULM on Saturday. Sarah Millard, Rebecca Brody and Yasmine Humbert lead the team in spring singles wins with two. This will be the first-ever meeting with Arkansas State.

ULM (3-12, 1-3) will visit James Madison on Saturday before visiting ODU on Sunday. Giovanna Pereira leads the team in singles wins with 10, while Alice Klinteby has nine. Those two are also the top two in doubles wins with Pereira having 10 and Klinteby with eight. This will also be the first-ever meeting with ULM.

"The pecking order is becoming clearer in the conference. We need to continue practicing, lifting and recovering with a mindset of having all cylinders firing as we head down the stretch," said Manilla.

ODU will next be home on April 8 at 1 p.m. to face off against James Madison.
