NORFOLK, Va. -- The Old Dominion women's tennis team returns to action on Sunday morning with a 10 a.m. match in Winston-Salem, N.C. against Wake Forest.
Ironically, these teams met each other last Saturday night in Columbus, Ohio as ODU defeated Wake Forest 4-3 in the final match of the ITA Kickoff Weekend Regional. The Monarchs rallied from a 3-1 deficit with a trio of three-set wins, finished off by Shahar Biran winning 6-4, 4-6, 6-0 over Brooke Killingsworth at line three.
"It's a rare occurrence to play a team back-to-back. Adjustments from both teams should be apparent," said ODU Head Coach Dominic Manilla. Last weeks result was tight with ultimately only one set making the difference. I expect both programs to be at their best Sunday."

ODU will next hit the home courts on Saturday, Feb. 18 to take on Iowa State at 11 a.m. inside the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center.
