NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion volleyball's Myah Conway will be in Colorado Springs, Colorado this weekend to participate in the 2023 Women's National Team Open Program.

This marks the second straight year that Conway will be representing the Monarchs at the Open Program. The Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania native will be one of over 200 players in attendance on Feb. 24-26 at the Olympic and Paralympic Training Center.

"I'm so grateful to be able to represent ODU and I'm excited to share what I've learned with my teammates when I get back," said Conway. "This is just one of the many unique opportunities I get to experience during my time here at ODU so I'm very thankful!"

The Women's National Team Open Program, formerly known as the Open Tryout, is used for consideration for selection to both the Women's National Team and the Collegiate National Team.

For 2023, members of the WNT will compete in the Volleyball Nations League, Paris Olympic Qualifier, Pan American Cup, NORCECA Continental Championship, and potentially the Pan American Games. The 2023 U.S. Women's Collegiate National Team will train in Anaheim, California alongside the U.S. Women's National Team athletes and staff.

"Although the program is only a couple days long, playing with some of the top players in college volleyball is an incredible learning experience," continued Conway. "Watching and playing with other athletes [last year] improved my game and gave me confidence to play at a higher level of competition. I expect a very competitive environment as everyone is used to playing at a high level."
