NORFOLK, Va. -- Old Dominion Head Women's Soccer Coach Angie Hind announced the 2023 Spring Schedule on Wednesday. The Monarchs will host a pair of teams, along with the end of the season Alumni Game.
"The spring is an important time for our program as it allows us the opportunity to develop athletically, technically, but also to continue to improve in how we play," said Hind. "I believe this strong spring schedule against strong and yet different styles of teams will help us continue to grow as a team."
ODU opens spring play in Williamsburg taking on William & Mary on March 3 at 6 p.m., before heading to Richmond on March 18 to tangle with VCU in a 1 p.m. kick.
The month of April starts with a pair of home matches as ODU will host East Carolina at 12:30 p.m. on April 1 and then tangle with the Marlins of Virginia Wesleyan on April 7 at 7 p.m. A road trip to Longwood for a tournament on April 16 is the final road contest of the spring slate.
The schedule will close on April 22 with an alumni game at noon, followed by an awards banquet at 4 p.m.
"We also have the opportunity to end our spring season welcoming back our Alumni on April 22nd and then come together with parents, supporters and friends to celebrate our championship season at our awards banquet," said Hind.
