NORFOLK, Va. -- The Old Dominion men's soccer team starts a two-match homestand on Friday night at 7 p.m. as they entertain 20th-ranked Campbell University at the ODU Soccer Complex.
Old Dominion (1-2) enters the contest with a win over George Mason, 1-0, and losses to American and Loyola by the same 1-0 margin. Michael Eberle leads the team in shots on goal (4), shots (7) and goals (1). In the net, freshman Michael Statham is ranked 28th nationally with an .857 save percentage and 33rd in goals against average with a 0.67 mark.
Campbell, ranked 20th in the country by College Soccer News, tied Coastal Carolina 1-1 on Monday night at home. Kemy Amiche, Daniel Hernandez and Gerard Broussard have scored two goals each for the Camels.
ODU returns to the home pitch on Tuesday night hosting William & Mary at 7 p.m.
