Wilkins, Enneking Compete In US Open Championships

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Noah Willkins and Tara Enneking of the Old Dominion University Swimming team represented the program this past weekend when they participated in the US Open Championships at the Greensboro Aquatic Center. Wilkins swam in three events, the 50 yard freestyle, 100 yard freestyle and the 100 yard butterfly. Enneking competed in the 200 yard IM.
 
In the 100 yard freestyle Wilkins finished in 22 out of 24 in the finals with a time of 51.48. That time is a career best for him in the 100 yard freestyle. In the 50 yard free Wilkins finished 49 out of 76 swimmers with a time of 23.66. In the 100 yard butterfly he placed 30 out of 62 swimmers with a time of 55.54. 
 
Enneking competed in the women's 200 yard IM where she placed 38 out of 43 swimmers with a time of 2:23.73. This was also a career best time for her in the 200 yard IM. 
 
Wilkins and Enneking will be back in action with the team on Dec. 18 when ODU travels to the Open Water Championships.
