NORFOLK, VA. – Coming off a 3-1 loss in the BIG EAST Championship to No. 19 Liberty, Old Dominion Field Hockey had three players named to the BIG EAST All-Tournament team announced Sunday following the match.
Forward Sanci Molkenboer, midfielder Frederique Zandbergen and midfielder Delphine Le Jeune were named to the team.
Molkenboer scored two goals in the tournament, one in each game. She scored the lone goal in the loss to Liberty on Sunday.
Le Jeune was the difference maker in ODU's win over Temple. She scored one goal on a penalty stroke and had an assist in the victory. She also made both of her shootout shots in the win and converted a penalty stroke in the shootout.
Zandbergen had two assists in the tournament. She had an assist in each of the games the Monarch's played. Zandbergen also scored the game winning penalty shot in the shootout against Temple.
