MOBILE, Ala. – Old Dominion University Football offensive lineman Nick Saldiveri has accepted an invitation to play in the Reese's Senior Bowl Game.

A three-year starter on the offensive line for the Monarchs, Saldiveri has started 33 games in his ODU career, including all nine games this season. Of his starts, 32 have come at right tackle, while he started a game earlier this season at right guard.

In 2021, Saldiveri helped running back Blake Watson become just the second player in program history rush for 1,000 yards in a season. He earned Phil Steele All-Conference honors. He also became the first ODU offensive lineman to score a touchdown, when he recovered a fumble in the end zone in the 2021 regular season finale against Charlotte.

Saldiveri will be the third Monarch to play in the Reese's Senior Bowl, joining Travis Fulgham and Oshane Ximines, who played in the game in 2018.

Saldiveri and the Monarchs take on James Madison on Saturday, Nov. 12 at 1 p.m.
