NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion University freshman sailor Emma Friedauer placed 19th at the Women's College Singlehanded National Championships over the weekend.
Friedauer was the first women's sailor to compete at the Fall singlehanded National Championships since current ODU assistant coach Morgan Collins (Wilson) qualified in 2010.
Sophia Montgomery of Harvard won the event, while Hallie Schiffman of Stanford finished second.
Friedauer recorded four top-15 finishes out of the 14 races to conclude her freshman season.
