NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion women's soccer team returns to the friendly confines of the ODU Soccer Complex on Thursday night to tangle with Arkansas State at 7 p.m. The game will be Breast Cancer Awareness Night.
Old Dominion (5-7-2, 3-3-1) enters the contest after a tough 1-0 loss at Appalachian State on October 14. Carla Morich leads the team in scoring with four goals and one assist for nine points, while Megan Watts has two goals and two assists for six points. The Monarchs sit in fourth place in the East Division.
Arkansas State (7-5-2, 5-2) heads to Norfolk after a 1-0 win over Georgia State on Sunday behind a goal from Darby Stotts. She leads the Red Wolves in scoring with four goals and two assists for 10 points, while Sarah Strong and Aliyah Williamson each have three goals and two assists for eight points. Arkansas State sits in second place in the West Division.
This will be the first-ever meeting between the teams.
Old Dominion will then head to Atlanta, Georgia for a Sunday matchup at Georgia State in a noon kick.
