NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion women's golf team will be in West Point, Mississippi this Monday and Tuesday to compete in The Ally, hosted by Mississippi State at Old Waverly Golf Club. The course has a par of 72 and is a total of 6,353 yards.

In addition to the host Bulldogs and ODU, the 11-team field will feature lineups from Alabama, Chattanooga, Illinois, Indiana, James Madison, Mercer, Missouri, Ole Miss and Southern Methodist.

Alabama won both the team and individual titles at last year's iteration of The Ally. As a team, the Crimson Tide recorded a nine-under par 279 in the final round to finish with a 22-under 842 for the tournament. That was a good 10 strokes ahead of second-place Florida, who came in at 12-under 852. Auburn rounded out the top three and was one stroke back of the Gators at 853.

On the individual side, Alabama's Benedetta Moresco broke a school record for lowest 54-hole total against par with a 19-under 197. She collected 24 birdies while posting rounds of 63 and 66 to win the tournament by six strokes. Florida's Maisie Filler was the runner-up with a score of 203 (-13), and Texas A&M's Adela Cernousek and Auburn's Megan Schofill tied for third with a pair of 205s (-11).

The tournament will be ODU's first since it hosted the Evie Odom Invitational on Sept. 29-Oct. 2 at the Princess Anne Country Club. Leah Onosato had the best finish for the Monarchs, carding a six-over 216 to tie for 22nd.

The Ally also marks ODU's final tournament of its fall season.
