NORFOLK, VA. – The No. 14 Old Dominion Field Hockey team is back at home this weekend for two matches. They will welcome Providence on Friday, Oct. 14 at 2 p.m. for a BIG EAST matchup, and host Queens on Sunday at 12 p.m.
 
Friday's match will be broadcasted by the BIG EAST Network and Sunday's will be streamed on Monarch Media.
 
ODU is coming off a pair of road wins last weekend extending their win streak to four, they defeated Georgetown on Friday, 2-0 and then turned around Sunday and hammered Delaware, 5-1. Marlon de Bruijne scored three goals over the weekend; her performance earned her the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week. Another Monarch earned an accolade over the weekend, with the win against Delaware on Sunday head coach Andrew Griffiths won his 100th game as the Old Dominion coach. Frederique Zandbergen leads ODU in assists (9) while de Bruijne leads the Monarchs in goals (10) and points (23). Cam MacGillivray currently ranks sixth nationally in save percentage (.824). 
 
Providence is coming off an 0-2 weekend with a loss to Temple in double overtime 2-1 and a loss to #22 Maine, 3-0. The Friars are led by Ally DeCoste in points, goals and assists. She currently has 12 points and is tied for the lead in goals with Sophia Pomeo with four. DeCoste is also tied in assists (4) with teammate Lisa McNamara. 
 
Queens is coming off an 0-2 weekend with a 3-1 loss to Lindenwood and a 5-2 loss to Saint Louis. Caroline Powell and Sydney Smith lead the Royals in points (4) and goals (2).
