NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion women's soccer team will celebrate Senior Day on Sunday afternoon as they host Coastal Carolina at the ODU Soccer Complex.
Seven seniors will be honored in pre-game ceremonies around 12:45 p.m. with the kick scheduled for 1 p.m. Indiah Hunter, Riley Kennett, Miya Lennon, Carla Morich, Kasey Perry, Reagan Tate and Emma Terefenko will be recognized.
Old Dominion (4-6-2, 2-2-1) enters the contest after a 1-0 win on Thursday night at Troy. Senior Miya Lennon took a feed from Yuliia Khrystiuk at 34:18 and blasted one into the far side of the net to put the Monarchs ahead. Emily Bredek recorded seven saves in the game for her first clean sheet of the season.
Coastal Carolina tallied its first Sun Belt win of the season on Thursday night with a 4-1 win over Southern Miss. Julia Zigenfuss recorded a hat trick for the Chanticleers whose record went to 2-7-3 overall and 1-3-1 in the Sun Belt.
The Monarchs will next hit the road on Friday, October 14 to face Appalachian State.
