NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion Rowing head coach Brian Conley announced the hiring of Zoe Adamson as assistant coach on Wednesday. She joins the Monarchs after finishing her college career at Oregon State in 2022.

"I am excited to add Zoe to the staff for this coming year.  Her experience of developing Oregon State and her international racing experience is something our team needs to achieve our goals," said Conley.  "Her energy and knowledge of culture development is something that stood out to me during the interview process and will be invaluable in our development as a championship program."

Prior to Oregon State, Adamson rowed at Hartpury College in Hartpury, England, where she was team captain and was the Henley Royal Regatta Champion. In 2017, she was a Junior World Champion and 2018 was an Under 23 Bronze World Medalist.

At Oregon State, Adamson was a four-year rower for the Beavers. In her first year with the Beavers, she helped them to a fifth-place finish in the PAC 12 Championships, the best finish since 2009 for OSU. Adamson then led Oregon State to two fourth-place finishes in the PAC 12 Championships in her final two years for the Beavers. In her final year she helped Oregon State's Varsity 8 to a 14th place finish at the NCAA Championships.
