NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion men's soccer team will close out its non-conference slate on Friday night as they visit eighth-ranked Maryland in College Park, Md. for a 7 p.m. kick. The game will be streamed on Big 10 Network+ .
Old Dominion (4-2-2) enters the contest after a scoreless draw with James Madison in its home Sun Belt opener on September 25. Tristan Jenkins leads the Monarchs in scoring with five goals and 10 points.
Maryland (5-1-2) comes into the match after a 1-0 win over Ohio State as Max Riley scored in the 56th minute to give the Terrapins the win. Malcolm Johnston leads Maryland in scoring with three goals and seven points.
The Terrapins lead the all-time series 9-5-2 as this will be the first meeting since 2013 when the teams played to a 1-1 draw.
Old Dominion will return to the home pitch on October 8 facing West Virginia in Sun Belt conference play at 7 p.m.
