NORFOLK, Va. – After tying for second at the Badger Invitational earlier this week, Old Dominion women's golf has a short turnaround as the Monarchs travel to Greenville, South Carolina for the Lady Paladin Invitational this Friday through Sunday. Furman is hosting the three-day tournament at the Furman University Golf Course.

Tee times for Friday and Saturday are set for 9 a.m. from the first and 10th holes, while Sunday will begin with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Fans can follow along with live stats available through Golfstat.

Also sending teams to the Invitational are Augusta, Costal Carolina, Daytona State, Florida Atlantic, Florida Gulf Coast, Georgia State, James Madison, Memphis, Minnesota, North Florida, Richmond, South Florida, Stetson, Tulane, UNCW, and Western Kentucky.

This weekend will be the first time ODU has competed in the event since 2019 when the Monarchs opened their fall season there. The team entered the third day in ninth place following rounds of 301 (+13) and 305 (+17), but a final round of three-under par 285 helped the Monarchs jump up to a fourth-place finish. Jana Melichova led the Monarchs as her three-under 213 tied her for second.
