NORFOLK, Va. -- Old Dominion men's golf head coach Murray Rudisill announced the team's 2022 fall schedule on Tuesday. The Monarchs will play in four fall events, to include hosting the 12th Annual ODU/OBX Intercollegiate.
"We're excited about the four tournaments we have for this fall," said Rudisill. "We're very familiar with the golf courses that we're going to play and look forward to the strong competition."
First up for the Monarchs is a trip to Richmond, Virginia on Sept. 11-13 to play in the VCU Shootout, hosted by the Rams at the Country Club of Virginia - Tuckahoe Creek Course. The team will then head to Davidson, N.C. for the River Run Collegiate, hosted by the Davidson Wildcats on Sept. 18-20 at River Run Country Club.
The month of October sees the Monarchs at the Georgia State Invitational on Oct. 2-4, with the Panthers hosting their tournament at Berkeley Hills Country Club in Duluth, Ga. ODU then rounds out its fall slate with the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate, to be played on Oct. 22-25 at Kilmarlic Golf Club in Powells Point, N.C.
"We're excited to again be hosting the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate at Kilmarlic this year," continued Rudisill. "We have a fairly young team with five newcomers and five returnees and we're ready to get started."
