NORFOLK, Va. -- Old Dominion women's golf head coach Mallory Kane announced on Thursday the full schedule for the 2022-23 season. The Monarchs will play in four fall events, five spring events and will host the Evie Odom Invitational at Princess Anne Country Club in late September.

The fall slate begins at the University of Wisconsin Badger Invitational on September 18-20. Old Dominion then heads to Furman for the Lady Paladin Invitational on September 23-25 at the Furman University Golf Club.

The second annual Evie Odom Invitational will be hosted again at Princess Anne Country Club from September 30 - October 2. Old Dominion will play host to 15 other schools participating over the 5,824-yard, par-70 layout.

"Our pride and joy absolutely is the Evie Odom Invitational at the Princess Anne Country Club in Virginia Beach. We will be hosting 15 teams from around the country and look forward to playing in front of our family, friends, and supporters," said Kane.

A final fall event will be a first-time appearance for the Monarchs as they will head to Mississippi State for The Ally held at the Old Waverly Golf Club in West Point, Mississippi on October 17-18.

"A new event for us, The Ally, will be our toughest test of the fall. Hopefully the tournaments preceding this will have us prepared to compete at the highest level. We certainly welcome the challenge of playing a number of highly ranked teams on a championship venue," Kane said.

On the fall schedule as a whole, Kane is looking forward to the challenges ahead. "We think our schedule this fall will be both challenging and exciting for our new team. We have three great new players and we can't wait to get started. Wisconsin has a wonderful golf course and Federica Torre is the defending champion. Furman hosts one of the longest running women's collegiate events on a historic university course. We are happy to have the opportunity to play there again this fall," she said.

In the spring, the Monarchs will start at the UCF Challenge in Orlando on February 5-7, before heading to Melbourne, Florida to take part in the Columbia Classic at the Duran Golf Club on February 11-13.

ODU will head back to Las Vegas to participate in The Show at Spanish Trail event hosted by UNLV at the Spanish Trail Golf Club to close out February on the 20th and 21st.

In March, the Monarchs will head to the Briar's Creek Invite hosted by College of Charleston on March 13-14 and then will close out the regular season at the Chattanooga Classic on April 2-4 at Council Fire Golf Club.

The 2023 Sun Belt Conference Championship will be held at LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Florida on April 16-18.
