NEW ORLEANS – Old Dominion football head coach Ricky Rahne, safety R'Tarriun Johnson and tight end Zack Kuntz will participate in Sun Belt Conference Football Media Day on Tuesday, July 26 in New Orleans.
Media Day will be the first official event for Old Dominion as members of the Sun Belt. Sun Belt Conference Commissioner Keith Gill will Sun Belt Conference Commissioner Keith Gill will begin the event at 11 a.m. eastern. For the first time in the conference's 22-year football history, Sun Belt Football Media Days will be expanded into a two-day affair.
Sun Belt East Division programs—Appalachian State, Coastal Carolina, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, James Madison, Marshall, and Old Dominion—will participate on Tuesday, July 26.
Sun Belt West Division programs—Arkansas State, Louisiana, ULM, South Alabama, Southern Miss, Texas State, and Troy—will appear on Wednesday, July 27.
Old Dominion opens the 2022 season at home against Virginia Tech on Friday, Sept. 2 at 7 p.m. on ESPNU.
