NEW ORLEANS – The Old Dominion University women's sailing team sits in 13th place after day one of the eastern semifinal on Monday in New Orleans.
ODU is just 28 points out of ninth place and qualifying for the national finals.
The Division A duo of Bridget Groble and Isabelle Kanach are currently in 12th place after day one. They delivered a pair of top-10 finishes in eight races.
The Division B team of Elizabeth Gildea, Makalynne Dyer and Katherine Barton sit in 13th in Division B. The trio had two top-10 spots after six races today.
Racing begins tomorrow with Division B at 10 a.m.
