CHAMPAIGN, ILL. – The opening round of the 2022 NCAA Singles Championships at the University of Illinois saw the end of the line in singles for senior Yuliia Starodubtseva on Monday afternoon.
Starodubtseva lost in her opening match to Mananchaya Sawangkaew of Oklahoma State 6-2, 6-4 to end her stellar senior campaign with a 30-6 singles record.
She isn't done in the NCAA's as her and Tatsiana Sasnouskaya will be in the doubles bracket starting tomorrow with a match against Ana Paula Melilo and Kit Giluhur of North Florida.
