DALLAS - Conference USA announced its 2022 Women's Tennis All-Conference awards on Monday afternoon and the two-time defending conference champion Old Dominion Monarchs came away with quite a haul.
 
Award winners included:
Yuliia Starodubtseva – Player of the Year, First Team All-Conference Singles, First Team All-Conference Doubles, Outstanding Singles Player of the Championship, Outstanding Doubles Team of Championship
 
Tatsiana Sasnouskaya – First Team All-Conference Singles, First Team All-Conference Doubles, Outstanding Doubles Team of Championship
 
Alexandra Viktorovitch – First Team All-Conference Singles, Second Team All-Conference Doubles
 
Sofia Johnson – Second Team All-Conference Singles, Second Team All-Conference Doubles, All-Freshman Team
 
Starodubtseva was a three-time Conference USA Athlete of the Week and two-time Conference USA Athlete of the Month. She had wins over No. 1 singles (Princeton in spring) and No. 1 doubles (fall 2021 - Oklahoma) while sporting a 28-5 overall record this year. This spring she is 20-1 and has won her last 17 matches. Starodubtseva helped lead team to second straight C-USA title rolling through the C-USA tournament winning the first match for ODU each day. Earlier in the spring, she recorded three-set wins over Ga. Tech and Ole Miss to help propel ODU to ITA Indoor Nationals winning the Atlanta Regional of ITA Kickoff Weekend.  She is the highest ranked player in C-USA currently ranked 20th nationally.
 
Sasnouskaya has been ranked as high as 53rd this spring and had won 10 matches in a row for her longest streak this season. She had a pair of nationally-ranked wins in back-to-back matches defeating Georgia Tech (38th ranked Bilchev) and Ole Miss (80th ranked Machalova) as ODU won Atlanta Regional in ITA Kickoff Weekend. So far this year she is 22-11 overall and 15-6 this spring in singles.
 
The doubles tandem of Starodubtseva-Sasnouskaya was ranked number one nationally in February and are currently eighth with a 30-6 overall record and a 12-3 mark this spring. They took second place at ITA All-American and ITA Fall National Championship, while winning the ITA Atlantic Super Regional. Recorded win over top-ranked duo from Oklahoma in fall.  Rolled through C-USA Tournament dropping only six games in three matches.
 
Viktorovitch has been ranked as high as 72nd this season in singles and currently sports an 18-7 record this year.  In dual matches she is 10-2 and on a nine-match winning streak.  A 2-time C-USA Athlete of the Week in consecutive weeks, she has a pair of top 35-ranked wins over Florida (34th) and Pepperdine (23rd).  She scored a key win over Ole Miss in the ITA Kickoff Weekend Regional Final as ODU defeated Ole Miss 4-3. At the ITA Indoor Nationals she garnered wins over Pepperdine and Wisconsin.
 
Johnson is 22-12 on the year with a 16-8 mark in dual matches.  She recorded a nationally-ranked win at the ITA Indoor Nationals over Texas A&M.  Johnson has wins over Wisconsin, Texas A&M, Miami, Penn State, Ga. Tech, Columbia and VCU. She was a C-USA Athlete of the Week selection after a 2-0 weekend on Senior Day.
 
Viktorovitch and Johnson are currently 11-1 on the year splitting time between the two and three spots in the lineup. They had won 11 in a row this year and have wins over Virginia Tech, Kansas, Penn, Harvard, Navy (2), JMU, UAB and Rice.
 
The award haul this year brings ODU's total for C-USA post-season awards to 61 honors since joining the league for the 2012-13 season.
