Noah Wilkins Named CoSIDA Academic All-District Honoree

Noah Wilkins

NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion University swimmer Noah Wilkins was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District At-Large Team, CoSIDA announced on Thursday. 

To be nominated, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at his/her current institution. 

At this year's CCSA Championships, Wilkins finished in second place in the 50 freestyle with a time of 20.24, just .08 out of first place. He also took third in the 100 freestyle with a time of 44.32. Wilkins was also a member of the ODU 4X1 and 4X5 relay teams that earned fourth place finishes. 
 
Wilkins also competed at the National Invitational Championships, finishing 14th in the 100 freestyle, 21st in the 50 freestyle and 18th in the 50 butterfly.
 
Wilkins has a 4.0 GPA and earned ODU's Howard-Wilkins Award last season for top GPA by a male athlete. He earned his degree in nuclear medicine technology and is getting his master's degree in public health. Wilkins is also working as a nuclear medicine technologist. He is the President of ODU's SAAC and is also a member of the swim team's leadership council.
