OAK RIDGE, TENN. – The Old Dominion rowing team finished its 2021-22 season on Sunday morning with a sixth-place finish in the American Athletic Conference championships.
Southern Methodist won the team title for the second year in a row.
The Varsity 4+ finished fifth in its race in a time of 8:15.433 for the best finish of the day for the Monarchs. In the Second Varsity 8+, the Monarchs came in sixth in 8:38.749, while the Varsity 8+ also came in sixth in 7:04.676.
In the post-match awards, Alexa Carlisle was named to the first team All-Conference in the Varsity Eights.
