ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Old Dominion senior women's golfer Jana Melichova shot a 3-over 74 on the second day at the NCAA Ann Arbor Regional on Tuesday and is tied for fourth overall at 1-over.

"Even though her score was higher today, Jana was much more impressive than in round one," ODU head coach Mallory Kane said. "She showed a lot of mental toughness to overcome a slow start and post another good round. Jana faced a number of really good shots today and she handled each one really well. She is in great shape heading into the final round. We are excited to see what she will do tomorrow!"

With one round remaining, the Pikovice, Czech Republic native is four strokes behind leader Natasha Andrea Oon of San Jose State who is 3-under. Jennifer Cleary of Virginia is second at 2-under and Ela Anacona of Arkansas is third at even par. Melichova is tied for fourth with Lucia Lopez-Ortega of San Jose State, Amanda Sambach of Virginia and Emily Mahar of Virginia Tech.
