NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion men's golf team will go head-to-head with VCU on Monday at Riverfront Golf Club in Suffolk, Virginia.
Monday's dual will utilize a stroke play/match play hybrid format with the top-eight golfers from each team squaring off in 18-hole stroke play matches. The individual with the lower 18-hole score wins the match and a point for his team.
ODU caught fire late at the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate, playing the closing stretch in 13-under par to surge up the leaderboard into third place. Jakob Henriksson tied for fourth at 7-over 220, and Rasmus Konradsson grabbed a share of sixth place at 222 (+9).
