Sailing Finishes Seventh at MAISA Team Race, Fourth at Garner Tullis

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Old Dominion University sailing finished in seventh at the MAISA Women's Team Race and fourth at the Garner Tullis Team Race over the weekend.
 
At the inaugural MAISA Women's Team Race Championship ODU finished in seventh place. The ODU skippers were Bridget Groble, Elizabeth Gildea and Megan Geith, while the crew were Isabelle Kanach, Katherine Barton and Makalynne Dyer. The Monarchs won three races, including a pair over St. Mary's and one over Hobart and William.
 
The Monarchs finished fourth at the Garner Tullis Team Race in New Orleans.
 
The skippers were Finn Ciszewski, Parker Purrington and Rider Odom were the skippers and the crew were Ethan Tutt, Allison Jeanne Volk and Joseph Paccione. ODU won eight races, including three wins over South Florida, two over Miami and a win over Tulane.
