ITHACA, N.Y. – Old Dominion University sailed finished in sixth place at the MAISA Spring Women's Championship over the weekend also placed 11th at the Navy Spring Regatta.
At the MAISA Championships, ODU tied for fifth on points with Navy but lost the tie-breaker with the Midshipmen.
The Division A team of Bridget Groble, Isabelle Kanach and Megan Geith took fourth in Division A. The team had seven top-five finishes and two race wins.
The Division B squad of Elizabeth Gildea, Allison Jeanne Volk and Makalynne Dyer registered sixth in the Division with five top-five spots and a race win.
At the Navy Spring Regatta, the Division A group of Rider Odom, Katherine Barton and Joe Paccione placed 12th, while the Division B squad of Finn Ciszewski, Alivia Markham and Paccione placed 11th.
